Hercules acquires Brazil’s Logos Quimica

TORONTO (ICIS news)--Hercules has acquired Brazil specialty chemicals company Logos Quimica for an undisclosed sum to strengthen its position in Latin America’s pulp and related markets, the US producer said on Tuesday.

 

Based in Sao Paulo, Logos Quimica was a supplier of specialty chemicals, technology and services to the pulp, paper, and coatings industries, Hercules said.

 

Logos Quimica has about 100 employees and generated sales of some $17m (€11m) last year.
