SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Fanavaran Petrochemical Co will close its sell tender for an acetic acid spot parcel of around 3,000 tonnes on 27 June, a company official said on Wednesday.
“We issued the tender on a global basis two days ago and now we are collecting proposals,” he said, adding that the sale, will be finalised to the “highest priced market” on Saturday.
This is the first spot cargo offer from the Iranian acetic acid producer as it had been out of the market since the start of the year due to persistent production issues at its 150,000 tonne/year plant at Bandar Imam.
FPC is a subsidiary of state-owned National Petrochemical Co (NPC).
