PRAGUE (ICIS news)--Spolchemie has raised prices in Europe and the Middle East by €120/tonne ($189/tonne) for its synthetic epoxy and alkyd resins due to a "dramatic increase in feedstock prices and energy and transportation costs", the Czech producer said on Tuesday.
The increases are effective on 1 July or as contract terms allow.
The price increase will be applied on a range of liquid epoxy resins, solid epoxy resins, epoxy blends and solvent borne and waterborne alkyd resins.
Around 70% of last year’s Spolchemie sales came from epoxy products, with around 86% of all production exported.
($1 = €0.63)
