SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--State-owned Bangladesh Petroleum Corp (BPC) has issued a tender to sell 110,000 bbls of open-spec naphtha for lifting in the first half of August, traders said on Tuesday.
The company offered the naphtha for lifting over 11-14 August from Chittagong in a tender, which closes on 22 July, with validity until 27 July.
BPC previously sold a similar cargo to a Singapore-based firm at a discount of $2.76/bbl to Singapore quotes FOB (free on board) Chittagong for loading during 16-19 July. Further details of the sale were not available.
BPC is the owner of the country's sole refinery, the 11m bbls/year Eastern Refinery Ltd, which produces 1.8m bbls/year of naphtha.
