SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Iran Petrochemical Commercial Co (IPCC) has sold an early August ethylene cargo of 4,500-5,000 tonnes via tender to a trader at around $1,690/tonne (€1081/tonne) this week, sources involved in the deal said on Tuesday.
The latest fixture represents a $40/tonne increase from its previous tender and the trader was heard to have offloaded the cargo to a southeast (SE) Asian buyer at $1,700/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Indonesia although this could not be confirmed.
The cargoes were expected to be loaded from Assaluyeh and/or Bandar Imam Khomeini (BIK) during 3-8 August.
The tender had closed at noon Singapore time on 7 July.
IPCC is the commercial arm of state-owned National Petrochemical Co.
