LONDON (ICIS news)--Two more industry players have followed last week’s initial European third-quarter contract ethylene settlement at €1,228/tonne ($1,919/tonne), a ?xml:namespace>
The producer agreed with a key German consumer and an integrated producer. Confirmation from the latter was still pending of the deal, done on an FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe) basis.
The contract, which marked a €190/tonne increase over the second quarter, was first agreed between a
Third-quarter propylene (C3) contract discussions were still ongoing but there was hope for a settlement sooner rather than later now that there was more support for ethylene at €1,228/tonne.
