HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US polyvinyl chloride (PVC) compound producer PolyOne said on Wednesday it has formed a Japan subsidiary to expand its presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

“We are well-positioned to serve the needs of the key industries in the country, including electronics, automotive, packaging, and bio-related materials,” said Willie Chien, vice president and general manager of PolyOne Asia.
The company said Kurt Schuering, PolyOne's vice president of corporate accounts, will oversee the business development operations of PolyOne
