SHANGHAI (ICIS news)--China National Offshore Oil Corp (CNOOC) shut down its aromatics plant at Huizhou in southern Guangdong province on Thursday for maintenance due to feedstock shortage, a company source said on Friday.
"The turnaround will last seven to ten days, during which time, sales will not be impacted as stocks are sufficient," the source added in Mandarin.
The conpany's aromatics plant produces 120,000 tonnes/year of toluene and 100,000 tonnes/year of xylenes.
