LONDON (ICIS news)--US exports of diammonium phosphate (DAP) in June reached 553,308 short tons - 49% up on June 2007 - as producers shipped more product to India, according to data released by The Fertilizer Institute on Wednesday.
The vast majority - 95% - of DAP was exported to ?xml:namespace>
US DAP producers were expected to increase shipments to India in June to avoid any inventory build following a slow domestic spring season due to poor weather.
US monoammonium phosphate (MAP) exports reached 115,548 short tons, down 11.2% on June 2007 levels.
