LONDON (ICIS news)--A major European butadiene (BD) producer has settled a third-quarter contract price with two of its consumers at €1,260/tonne ($2,000/tonne), €40/tonne higher than the initial settlement done over a week ago, the producer said on Wednesday.
Confirmation of the agreements, which were done on a FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe) basis, was pending from the buying side.
The first third quarter contracts to be settled were at €1,220/tonne FD NWE, up €240/tonne from the second quarter between a Netherlands based producer and the same two consumers.
