HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US chemical and global logistics company BDP International has acquired Seabreeze Argentina, the company said on Tuesday.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
The deal expands BDP's presence in Latin America, which already includes offices in Brazil, Chile and Mexico, the company said.
"The addition of Seabreeze enables BDP to bring additional transportation service expertise to our customers doing business in Argentina, both to support their international air and ocean requirements and build upon our value proposition for trade in the global marketplace," according to a statement by Timothy Bolte, BDP vice president, Pan Americas.
The deal is BDP's latest move in Argentina. In April, it established a business unit in Buenos Aires called BDP International SRL, the company said. The business unit provides customised logisics services for the Argentine petrochemical industry.
