SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Formosa Plastics Corp plans to shut down its 120,000 tonne/year polypropylene (PP) plant in Linyuan, Taiwan, in November for a two-week maintenance turnaround, a company source said on Monday.

“There is no plan to turn around the other PP line with a 230,000 tonne/year capacity this year,” the source said.

Other PP producers in Taiwan include Taiwan Polypropylene and Formosa Chemicals and Fibres Corp (FCFC).
