Third Europe August styrene settles up €52/tonne

LONDON (ICIS news)--A third public European August barge styrene settlement has been made up €52/tonne ($33/tonne) from July on upstream benzene increases, a producer source reported on Friday.

The source said that the settlement had been made at €1,280/tonne FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe) and was concluded on the basis of a similar increase in upstream benzene contracts.

Confirmation of the settlement was pending. The contract partners behind this settlement had finalised July contracts at €1,228/tonne FD NWE.
