BASF names new US resins distributor

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--German plastic manufacturer BASF has named M Holland as its new US resins distributor, the company said on Monday.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

The Chicago-based M Holland, which operates in nearly 30 US states, will distribute BASF’s acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) and styrene-butadiene copolymers (SBC). It became the German company’s fourth resins distributor in North America.

“We have selected M Holland based on its excellent market position and ability to sell commodity products,” said BASF North America distribution executive Ken Jacobsen.
