HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US storm Edouard has weakened into a tropical depression, and all tropical storm warnings were suspended, the National Hurricane Center said on Tuesday.
As of 16:00 Houston time (21:00 GMT), Edouard was 35 miles (60 km) north-northeast of Houston, the centre said. Maximum sustained winds were 35 miles/hour, down from 50 miles/hour.
Edouard had disrupted traffic along the Houston Ship Channel when it was still classified as a tropical storm, according to the US Coast Guard.
