SHANGHAI (ICIS news)--China-based Inner Mongolia Tianye Chemical has brought forward the maintenance shutdown of its 200,000 tonne/year methanol plant by two days to 13 August, a company source said on Tuesday.
"It’s a big overhauling this year and the unit turnaround will last around one month. The methanol sales will likely be impacted, though we have thousands of tonnes inventory at present," said the source, adding that the plant would restart around 10 September.
Tianye is located in Hohhot city, capital of the northern province of Inner Mongolia
