LONDON (ICIS news)--India’s largest public sector enterprise company MMTC has asked traders to resubmit offers under its 11 August sulphur tender, although the exact reason was unclear, a trader source said on Tuesday.
The tender, for 18,000 tonnes of sulphur firm and 15,000-18,000 tonnes optional received offers from five fertilizer traders.
These comprised Swiss Singapore, Transfert, Havi, Midgulf and MTPL with prices in the low-$780s to mid-$790s/tonne CFR (cost and freight).
MMTC reportedly asked traders to submit fresh offers on Wednesday, 13 August.
The tender called for second-half August delivery to Vizag.
