US weekly propylene stocks up 15% - EIA

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--US weekly non-fuel use propylene inventories rose by 15% in the week ended 8 August compared with a week earlier, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday.

US propylene inventories ended last week at 2.923m bbl. That figure is down by 0.6% from 2.940m bbl one year earlier, according to EIA data.

Non-fuel use propylene, as defined by the EIA, is intended for petrochemical manufacturing, including polymer and chemical grade propylene.
