HOUSTON (ICIS news)--PotashCorp has sold a 10,000 tonne cargo of ammonia to Terra for $925/tonne, a source close to the operation said on Friday.
The terms were CFR (cost and freight) Donaldsonville.

The price represents a $180/tonne premium (€120.60) over the August Tampa CFR price of $745/tonne.
Terra has struggled to reopen its 500,000 tonne plant in Donaldsonville, Louisiana – which has been offline since the company closed it in December 2005 because of high natural gas prices – and has rescheduled bringing the plant back online at least twice.
The delay of the Donaldsonville plant’s restart and the outage of a 760,000 tonne/year Burrup ammonia plant in Australia have contributed to a tightening of global supply.
