SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Taiwan’s largest olefins producer Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPCC) has settled its July Asia butadiene (BD) contract up $495/tonne from June at $2,589/tonne pipeline delivered, a company source said on Monday, on tight supply and soaring energy complex values.
FPCC’s June contract was settled at $2,094/tonne pipeline delivered.
US July contracts were settled 12 cents/lb higher from June at 98 cents/lb.
Crude hit $147/bbl and naphtha surpassed $1,250/tonne CFR (cost and freight)
