SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--South Korea’s DC Chemical said on Monday it has secured a won (W) 215.7bn ($206.1m) order to supply polysilicon to Italy's Helios Technology SRL.

DC Chemical would supply the polysilicon from 2010 to 2016, it said.

The announcement follows one last week, when it secured a W596bn polysilicon contract with Germany’s Deutsche Solar AG.

In July, DC Chemical announced plans to build a 10,000 tonne/year solar polysilicon facility by end of 2009.
