LONDON (ICIS news)--AkzoNobel has agreed to sell its Crown Paints business in the UK and Ireland to a private equity firm and two Belgian brands to a French coatings producer, it said on Tuesday.
The divestments were part of a commitment package agreed with the European Commission following the Dutch company’s acquisition of ICI in January, Akzo Nobel said in a statement.
