SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--South Korea’s largest cracker operator - Yeochun Naphtha Cracking Center (YNCC) - has shut down its 550,000 tonne/year No 2 cracker at Yeocheon this morning due to compressor problems, two company sources said on Thursday.
“The No 2 cracker was shut down at 5.44 am (Korean time) this morning because of compressor trouble,” one of the sources said, adding that it was unclear how long the cracker would be down.
