INEOS plans 6-week outage at Cologne ACN unit

LONDON (ICIS news)--INEOS Nitriles will shut down its Cologne acrylonitrile (ACN) plant for planned maintenance at the beginning of September, a source at the company confirmed on Friday.

 

The turnaround will last up to six weeks, the source said.

 

The INEOS facility has the capacity to produce 300,000 tonnes/year of ACN.

 

Other acrylonitrile producers include Repsol and DSM.
