HOUSTON (ICIS news)--A new LyondellBasell autoclave process technology will allow for the production of specialised ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) adhesives and unique grades of low density polyethylene (LDPE), the company said on Monday.

“Products from the Lupotech A process complement the LDPE and EVA portfolio covered by the leading tubular process Lupotech T,” said Kaspar Evertz, LyondellBasell’s vice president of licensing, in a press release.

Evertz noted the new technology would provide opportunities for scale-up and product optimization at the large number of existing LDPE autoclave plants.
