IPCC pushes back ethylene cargo loading datesSINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Iran Petrochemical Commercial Co (IPCC) has revised the loading dates for its ethylene (C2) tender cargo for a second time to 19-20 September due to vessel delays, a source close to the commercial arm of state-owned National Petrochemical Co (NPC) said on Wednesday.

The 4,500-tonne cargo was earlier expected to be loaded from Assaluyeh and/or Bandar Imam Khomeini (BIK) during 1-2 September but this was initially pushed back to around mid-September due to congestion at the last discharge port of the vessel, the source added.

As a result of the change in loading dates, IPCC had called for fresh proposals from potential bidders and the cargo was then sold to a trader, the source said.

The price was around $1,340/tonne CFR (cost and freight) SE Asia (southeast Asia), and not $1,350/tonne as previously reported, said the source.

He declined to provide details of the buyer.
