LONDON (ICIS news)--The ammonia price for September contract deliveries to Tampa has been agreed at an increase of $186/tonne (€126.50/tonne) over August on the back of higher prices in Yuzhny and a recent spot sale into the US Gulf, market sources said on Friday.

Supplier Yara confirmed it had agreed the contract price at $931/tonne CFR (cost and freight) with buyer CF Industries and an agreement with Mosaic was expected to come later on Friday.

The Tampa price had been expected to rise on the back of higher numbers in Yuzhny. September tonnage has been sold at up to $860/tonne FOB (free on board) Yuzhny.

The price of $931/tonne CFR reflected around $850-855/tonne FOB Yuzhny for large vessels, sources said.
