South Korea’s LG Chem awards xylene tender

SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--South Korean aromatics producer LG Chem awarded a sell tender for a 2,000 tonne solvent grade xylene cargo on Friday to a fellow South Korean trader, said a company source.

The tender was awarded at $1,030/tonne FOB (free on board) Korea for the mid-September loading cargo.

The sell tender was issued and awarded on Friday, he added.

Solvent grade xylene in Asia was assessed at $1,030-1,040/tonne FOB Korea, according to global chemical market intelligence service ICIS pricing.
