LONDON (ICIS news)--US producer Mosaic has yet to restart its Faustina phosphate fertilizer plant which was taken down in anticipation of the arrival of Hurricane Gustav in the US Gulf, a source at the company said on Tuesday.
Mosaic shut down the Faustina diammonium phosphate (DAP) and monoammonium phosphate (MAP) plant in ?xml:namespace>
There were still power outages in the area, added the source.
Mosaic sources were uncertain when the plant, which has the capacity to produce 1.8m tonnes/year of DAP/MAP, would restart.
