SHANGHAI (ICISnews)--The aromatics unit of Jinling Petrochemical is operating normally after the plant was restarted five days ahead of schedule on 9 September, a company source on Thursday.
The aromatics unit produces 30,000 tonnes/year of benzene, 110,000 tonnes/year of toluene and 130,000 tonnes/year of xylenes.
The facility was shut down on 1 September in line with the maintenance of its upstream reformer at
Jinling Petrochemical is a subsidiary of Sinopec.
