PRAGUE (ICIS news)--Czech synthetic resins producer Spolchemie said on Tuesday it has completed all necessary pre-registration for the EU’s chemical safety regulations Reach.?xml:namespace>
“By pre-registering prior to November's deadline, Spolchemie's products are assured market presence and availability in all 27 European Union countries. Reach regulations allow only pre-registered substances to be sold after the submission deadline,” said Jan Votava, Spolchemie’s quality manager.
"For our customers this means the maximum and earliest possible certainty that Spolchemie's products remain available as normal," he added.
The company said around 200 of its chemical products, each with an annual tonnage in excess of one tonne, were affected by the registration and evaluation of chemicals legislation known as Reach.
