HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Flint Hills Resources is restarting its Odessa olefins cracker in Texas, which it shut down earlier this month due to a leak in the cooling water system, the company said on Tuesday.
Flint Hills attempted to start up the cracker on 11 September, but the process was not completed due to electrical problems, the company said in a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
Flint Hills's ethylene capacity in Odessa is 348,000 tonnes/year.
