LONDON (ICIS news)--Dow Europe has lifted the force majeure on butadiene (BD) from its Terneuzen, Netherlands, unit, a company source said on Wednesday.
“Both Terneuzen BD plants are operating,” the source said
Force majeure had been in place since late June, following some technical hiccups which affected production rates at the site.
Dow operates two BD extraction units in Terneuzen and production issues earlier in the year also resulted in a force majeure declaration.
