SHANGHAI (ICIS news) --- China Panjin Ethylene has restarted its 50,000 tonnes/year acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) plant during the Golden week holidays, said a company source on Monday.
The plant is running between 60-70% currently, and on-spec material is expected to produced within a few days, the source said, declining to reveal the exact date of restart.
The ABS plant had been shut down for about 50 days since mid-August.
Output loss during the shutdown period was pegged at around 6,000 tonnes.
Panjin Ethylene is a subsidiary of Liaoning Huajin Chemical, located at Panjin city in northeastern
