HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Flint Hills Resources dropped on Tuesday posted prices for US paraffinic base oil - the first price change in three months - on falling crude and vacuum gas oil (VGO) values, buyers said.

In a letter to its customers, Flint Hills said it would drop posted prices by 20 cents/gal (€0.04/litre) on 7 October for Group II base oils including 70,75, 100, 230 and 600 grades.

Flint Hills last changed prices on 18 July when it increased Group II grades by 20-35 cents/gal, according to data from global chemical market intelligence service ICIS pricing.
