LONDON (ICIS news)--The European butadiene (BD) monthly contract price (MCP) for October has been agreed up €55/tonne ($75/tonne) from September in an effort to overcome increasingly protracted discussions, a buyer said on Thursday.
Two buyers have so far confirmed the settlement at €1,350/tonne FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe), but confirmation from the participating producer was still pending.
A third buyer was also reported to have followed the settlement, but immediate confirmation was not possible.
($1 = €0.73)
