LONDON (ICIS news)--An initial European September paraxylene (PX) settlement has been made down €145/tonne ($199/tonne) from August, a source at a major producer reported on Friday.

The source said that the settlement had been made with consumers at €835/tonne FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest Europe). August settlements were concluded at €980/tonne FD NWE.

Final confirmation of settlements was pending.
