SINGPORE (ICIS news)--South Korea’s SK Energy plans to shut its 190,000 tonne/year No 1 cracker in Ulsan at the end of October/early November due to poor economics, said a source close to the company on Thursday.
“It is not yet decided how long the cracker will be shut but it could be at least until the end of the year,” the source added.
