SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Here is Thursday’s mid-day
CRUDE: December WTI $67.59/bbl up $0.84; December Brent $65.35/barrel up $0.83.
Oil rose back to $67-68/bbl levels after sharp losses at the previous trading session as the focus is back on OPEC which will cut output to shore up prices. December WTI was at $67.59/bbl up $0.84 and December Brent at $65.35/barrel up $0.83.
NAPHTHA: Asian naphtha prices opened softer Thursday. First half December prices indications were pegged at $379.00-382.00/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Japan, second half December at $395.00-398.00/tonne CFR Japan and first half January at $410.00-413.00/tonne CFR Japan.
BENZENE: Prices continued falling on Thursday and were at $450-460/tonne FOB (free on board) Korea, 40/tonne lower from Wednesday. A deal was heard at $450/tonne FOB Korea for any December loading.
TOLUENE: Prices were notionally assessed lower at $490-500/tonne FOB Korea with a bid heard at $450/tonne FOB Korea for any December loading. An offer was heard at $530/tonne FOB Korea for Second Half November lifting.
