HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Flint Hills Resources has shut down the sulphur recovery unit (SRU) and the fluid catalytic cracker (FCC) at its 300,000 bbl/day refinery in Corpus Christi, Texas, the company said on Monday.
Planned turnarounds caused the shutdowns at the refinery’s eastern SRU and FCC units, the company said in a filing with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
Flint Hills should complete the work by 7 November, the filing said.
The company itself did not comment about the duration of the work.
