LONDON (ICIS news)--Germany's Cognis has completed the sale of Pulcra Chemicals to German investor Fashion Chemicals for €23.1m ($29.6m), the company said on Monday.

Cognis said the divestment of Pulcra Chemicals, which supplies process chemicals to the textile and leather industries, was in line with its strategy of focusing on its core businesses.
Fashion Chemicals took more than €15m in financial liabilities from the acquisition, including debts and pensions, according to a statement from Cognis.
Based in Monheim, Germany, Cognis is a global supplier of speciality chemicals and nutritional ingredients.
