NewsFlashFlint Hills to close Texas cracker

HOUSTON (ICIS news)--Flint Hills Resources (FHR) will close its Odessa olefins cracker in Texas, the company said on Thursday.

FHR capacity in Odessa is 348,000 tonnes/year.

The company said the shutdown is scheduled for the first half of 2009.
