MOVES: Ciba CFO to leave at year end

LONDON (ICIS news)--Juerg Fedier, chief financial officer (CFO) of Ciba, will leave the company at the end of the year and will not be replaced due to the takeover process by BASF, the Swiss specialty chemicals company said on Tuesday.

Fedier has decided to pursue career opportunities outside Ciba, the company added.

Niklaus Meier, who has been with Ciba for 13 years, will assume the CFO’s responsibilities in addition to his current position as head of group control.
