Russia's Jan-Sep fertilizer exports fall 1.6%

MOSCOW (ICIS news)--Russia's nitrogen mineral fertilizers exports fell 1.6% year on year January-September to 7.147m tonnes, but the export value surged 80.3% to $2.42bn (€1.9bn), the Russian Federal Customs Service said on Tuesday.

The country's potash exports were down 1.2% year on year at 6.925m tonnes, and more than doubled in terms of value to $2.54bn, the customs service said in a statement.

Russia's exports of mixed mineral fertilizers were down by 9% from the same period last year at 4.744m tonnes, but was more than double in terms of value at $3.34bn, the statement said.
