SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Indonesia’s PT Berlian Laju Tanker (BLT) announced over the weekend it has tripled its nine- months-to-September net profit to $161m (€128m) from $53m a year earlier as operating revenues almost doubled.
BLT posted an 85% increase in operating revenues for the period to $546m from $294m, with gross profits soaring 90% to $179m from $94m.
The company is a Jakarta-based cargo shipping service provider, mainly transporting petrochemical products and liquid cargoes and is part of the Bina Surya Group.
