SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Thailand’s Rayong Olefins (ROC) plans a scheduled maintenance at its aromatics unit in February 2009, said a company source on Wednesday.

The Mab Ta Phut-based unit producing 160,000 tonnes/year of benzene and around 80,000 tonnes/year of toluene would be taken offline from 15-28 February, she said.

During the shutdown, the plant would undergo a catalyst change, she added.

Some of the other key sellers of benzene and toluene in Thailand are PTT and IRPC.
