India levies ADD on Thai, S Korea acrylic fibre

NEW DELHI (ICIS news)--India has levied an anti-dumping duty (ADD) on acrylic fibre (AF) imports from Thailand and South Korea for five years beginning 20 November, a government official said on Monday.

The Revenue Department would impose an ADD at rate of $0.225/kg on AF imports originating from South Korea.

It would levy an ADD of $0.16/kg on supplies from Thai Acrylic Fibre Co. All other AF imports originating from other Thai companies would attract ADD of $0.313/kg.

These levies have been imposed in accordance with recommendations from anti-dumping authority (ADA), which last month completed its sunset review (SSR) of the preceding ADD tariff.
