SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--South Korea's DC Chemical has been running its toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) plant in Kunsan at 60% rates since restarting the unit on Tuesday, a company source said on Wednesday.
"We’ll ramp up production to full capacity if demand improves," the source said.
Sales had been low in Asia since early October as a result of the global downturn, he said.
Other TDI producers in South Korea include BASF Korea and KPX Fine Chemical.
