LONDON (ICIS news)--An initial Europe December monoethylene glycol (MEG) contract was settled down €90/tonne ($114/tonne) or 14% from November to €540/tonne, producers said on Wednesday.
The producer involved in the agreement confirmed the settlement, done on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE)but would not give any further details. The buyer was not available for comment.
This followed a string of significant decreases since August when the price was at €950/tonne.
