SINGAPORE (ICIS news)--Here is Thursday’s end-of-day Asian oil and chemical market summary from ICIS pricing.
CRUDE: January WTI $46.05/bbl down 74 cents January BRENT $44.58/bbl down 86 cents
Crude futures weakened on Thursday close to four year lows. Negative
NAPHTHA: Asian naphtha prices closed softer Thursday. Second half January price indications were pegged at $264.00-265.00/tonne CFR (cost and freight) Japan, first half February at $262.00-263.00/tonne CFR Japan and second half February at $262.00-263.00/tonne CFR Japan.
BENZENE: Prices were notionally assessed stable at $290-305/tonne FOB (free on board)
TOLUENE: Trading remained sluggish with a bid heard for any January lifting at $390/tonne FOB Korea and another at $415/tonne FOB Korea for second half January lifting. No offers were heard.
